So tonight

I was asked to finish this sentence, "The truth is..."
This is what I came up with.

The truth is...
love is not lost,
Lost is not just a TV show,
the show must go on,
on is the switch that lights the way to truth.

It wasn't really that clever, and I'm certain I don't believe it, but that's the truth as of tonight.
